Our Three Sheepskin Density's
Super Natural is of 100% premium sheepskin. The wool is extra dense and 1 inch in length. Life expectancy of this selection is from nine to thirteen years. Super Natural pelts are in limited supply.
Natural is of 100% choice sheepskin. The wool is from dense to medium-dense and 1 inch in length. Life expectancy of this selection is from six to nine years.
Standard seat covers are made by piecing together the side panels of the cover. The wool is from medium – dense and is 1 inch in length. Life expectancy of this selection is five to eight years.
Since sheepskin is a natural product, all of the pelts we use vary in density, fiber thickness and texture. A set of Ramshead seat covers requires from four to five pelts to complete, which are all hand-selected and matched for texture, density and color. We match all of the sheepskins we use as closely as Mother Nature allows.
